This quest for those over level 100 is to further ensure that the Dark Isle stays raised and will reward you with xp as well as a helm that those 150+ can wear which boasts a double major! Seek out Kiriel Shadowborn in Bandit Castle at 66.5n 50.1e.

Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "Thank you for coming. I feared many would not be willing to hear me out."
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "Grael has awakened. My lord tried to stop this, but it has come to pass. I fear the Black Spear's rage will consume this world, if he is not stopped. To that end, my Lord has sent me to aid you and all those who go with you."
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "First, a little lesson in history..."
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "Long ago, Grael, the Black Spear of the Kemeroi, chose to sleep. The place he chose to sleep was an isle north of here, north of Vissidal Isle. His presence covered the island in Shadow, and the isle soon came to be called the Dark Isle."
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "Those Falatacot who followed the Old One, N'cthail took a chance and used ancient seals to sink the isle below the waves. It was their hope that none would ever wake Grael and that this world would be free of him forever. Now, however, that wish has been undone by another."
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "I can show you the path to this Temple. Though the original Crystal binding the Isle to the deeps has been destroyed, it must not be allowed to reform, lest the Isle sink back down beneath the waves. The Temple is heavily defended. There are wards that block the use of the portals to the Catacombs. I've located a tablet that will allow me to enchant you to bypass the Eastern Temple Catacomb's wards. Go into the Temple. There is a portal to the Temple opened at 70.4N, 50.5E. Find the entrance to the Eastern Catacombs, bring back the Tablet you will find there, and I can give you further access to the Temple.

Now head to the Temple of N’cthail at 70.5n 50.6e. The drop (you will notice) is hot with the Falatacot as well as tendrils. Both of these will be a common eyesore for you as you progress through this quest. From the drop, head up ram then take a right (eastward)l Stick to the wall on the left to reach the Eastern Temple Catacombs portal swirling under a ramp.

Eastern Temple Catacombs

~ Level 1 ~

From the drop you will need to take the right turn at the T and follow down to the next level.

~ Level 0 ~

Simply stick to the right wall at all times being wary of the dispel trap in the middle of the hall

~ Level 1 ~

Simply stick to the left minding the dispel trap in the first hall way after turning west. Once you hit the stamina trap you will know you’re close to the end of this level.

~ Level 0 + 1 ~

This is simply a double ramp leading to Level 2. Stick to the right.

~ Level 2 ~

This final level starts off with you heading north until reaching a T; take a right leading to another T where you will take a left. At the 4-way intersection you will need to go straight and take the first right turn followed by the next left turn. You now be at a 3-way split with all passages leading to the same end chamber. Clear the tendrils and make short work of Vault Mistress Shilaanis Ri.
~ Boss ~

Name: Vault Mistress Shilaanis Ri
Weak to: Acid or Fire (undead slayer)
Drops: Eastern Vault Key
Cohorts: Slithis Tendrils and Eye Stalks
Uses: Slashing damage and spells of all types.

Use her Eastern Vault Key on the gate to reach the end chamber where the Eastern Temple Tablet spawns (3 at a time). Grab one then recall and give to Kiriel.

Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "Have you found anything in the Eastern Catacombs yet?"
You give Kiriel Shadowborn Eastern Temple Tablet.
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "Ahh, the Eastern Catacombs Tablet..."
Kiriel Nightborn examines the tablet, muttering over the runes while tracing them with a finger. A cold darkness slowly covers the runes.
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "There is a second tablet in the Western Catacombs. It contains the rest of the enchantment I need to gain you access to the crystal. With this Tablet, I can give you access to the Western Catacombs. Enter the Western Catacombs, find the tablet hidden there."
Kiriel Shadowborn intones softly and a cold chill passes over you for a moment.
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "There, now you can enter the Western Catacombs. Good luck."

Head back to the Temple of N’cthail portal and at the drop go up the ramp and take a left heading westward. Stick to the wall on the right and enter the Western Temple Catacombs portal (Note: do NOT jump into the portal or you risk having to do the hazardous run again).

Western Temple Catacombs

~ Level 1 ~

From the drop you will take the northern exit minding the lightning traps (Those who fall below will take the portal out and try again). This area is also safe for rebuffing.

~ Level 0 ~

A dispel trap lies right in front of the pit; jump over it and into the pit.

~ Level -1 ~

Clear the many tendrils then push the button on the SE wall to open the passage on the north wall. Go in and stick left to pull the next lever. Continue sticking left to exit the chamber and go into the now opened passage on the East wall. Follow the same method as before to open the passage on the west wall being careful of the dispel trap in front of the lever. Simply repeat in the west chamber (again being wary for the dispel trap in front of the lever) to open the final passage to the south end of the chamber where a stamina trap awaits. Stick to the right and go down the ramp to reach the next level.

~ Level -2 ~

Stick to the left and activate the trigger on your right when you enter a small room. Continue to a 4-way intersection where you will need to stick left to enter a chamber with a button on the western wall. Push it and continue sticking left until you reach the eastern chamber with a button on the eastern wall that will need to be pushed. Now simply stick to the right and go into the now opened northern chamber. And jump down to the next level.

~ Level -3 ~

This level holds a fairly complex lever puzzle that can be easily skipped using the PK/PKL tricks. If you prefer that method then simply turn south and stick to the right. Until you come to a closed door. Trick your way through and continue on to the next door which will need to be tricked through and continue to the jump.

If you prefer the purist-method than from the landing turn south and activate the trigger on the right wall in the second square room you come to. Stick left until you go into a now opened chamber with another button that you will need to push. Head straight southward to another chamber with another button. After you push the button, go out of the chamber and stick to the right to push the final button. Stick to the left all the way to the final jump leading to the final level.

~ Level -4 ~

From the landing, head north and take a left at the split. From there you will need to simply stick to the right to reach the end chamber. Kill all the tendrils as well as the Vault Mistress Niktari Xsu.

~ Boss ~

Cohorts: Slithis Tendrils and Eye Stalks
Uses: Slashing damage and spells of all types.

Loot her Western Vault Key to open the gate that leads to the Western Temple Tablet (spawns 3 at a time) that Kiriel seeks. Recall out and head to Kiriel.

Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "I see you have found the Western Tablet. Please, hand it to me, so I may use it to grant you access to the final section of the Temple.

Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "The Western Catacombs Tablet..."
Kiriel Nightborn examines the tablet, muttering over the runes while tracing them with a finger. As with the first tablet, a cold darkness slowly covers the runes.
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "Now, I'll be able to complete the enchantment gaining you access to the Northern Catacombs. At the bottom of the Northern Catacombs, you should find the gate to the crystal we seek. Find it. Destroy it. Bring me proof of its demise, and I will reward you."
Kiriel Shadowborn once again intones softly and a cold chill passes over you for a moment.
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "There, now you can enter the Northern Catacombs. Good luck, and take care. The path only gets more difficult from here."

Now head back to the lovely Temple of N’cthail yet again for the (hopefully) final time. On the north side of the temple under a ramp like the other portals, is the Northern Temple Catacombs Portal.

Northern Temple Catacombs

~ Level 1+ 0 ~

From the drop simply head north and stick to the right to reach the ramps leading down to the next level.

~ Level -1+0+1+2 ~

Yet another segway area consisting of a path leading to ramps (four lengths leading up) up to the next level. Stick right.

~ Level 3+4 ~

This chamber is another mini lever puzzle. Push the trigger on the north wall then go into the chamber on the west wall and activate that trigger to open the passage on the east wall which will lead to a double ramp going up to the next section.

~ Level 5 ~

Simply stick right through the catwalk until you reach another trigger. Activate it and continue to your next mini lever puzzle. The statue on the west side of the north wall should be moved aside now to reveal a button that will move aside the statue on the eastern side of the north wall. Behind that statue lies a button that will move aside the center statue to reveal the passage onward. This puzzle is fast and you may need to station someone at each lever to get it easily. Simply head north and then up a smal lrmap and go north more and stick left and continue to the next section.

~ Level 6 ~

Simply head south to the next level

~ Level 7+8+9+10+11+12 ~

Continue south and at the T go left and stick left though another segway section of ramps ending in a small room beginning the next section.

~ Level 13 ~

Simply Stick to the left through three long passages (the second being a catwalk) and you’ll reach the next level.

~ Level 14+14+16+17+18+19 ~

Take a right at the T and stick to the left through another segway section of ramps ending in a passage that ends in another ramp up to yet another passage that ends in a rap up to the next section.

~ Level 20+21 ~

From here on out we have the more traditional structure of the Falatacot world consisting of borders and corner (no more tunnel-passages!). Stick to the right to reach a ramp leading up to a small passage ending with, you guessed it, a ramp up leading to the final level.

~ Level 22+23+24 ~

Clearing the tendrils will result in access to the Vault of Eternal Slumber portal and the final dungeon! The portal lies in the west alcove after the second ramp up.

Vault of Eternal Slumber

Note: Before I begin, you are flagged to use this portal for the next 27 days if you fail or die. At the drop of the Temple of N’cthail you will need to make the harrowing trek to the top of the temple where, in the small room, lies the portal to this place. I personally would rather just not die.

~ Level 1+ 0 ~

Simply head north down the ramp and you’ll find the pit you need to jump down. It’s advisable to have the tendrils imperiled from above by the mages as the drop is hot.

~ Level -1~

Clear the tendrils after landing and DO NOT GO NEAR THE LEDGE OF THE ACID PIT! It is lined with dispel traps which are quite nasty. Simply jump over them into the acid pit, the final level, and to the boss.

~ Level -2~

This chamber is an invisible floor over the acid pit where the Crystal of the Dark Isle awaits you. The middle floor plates are safe but the remaining platforms house dispel traps. The area beside the floor plate before the southern passage (which leads to the Temple of N’cthail) has an invisible dispel trap (the floor plate being safe).

~ Boss ~

Weak to: AR Fire or Bludgeon
Drops: Crystal Shard
Cohorts: None
Uses: Typeless damage as well as physical

Loot the shard and when all have it (you may need to kill it again on a seven minute timer) recall out and give to Kiriel.

You give Kiriel Shadowborn Crystal Shard.
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "A shard of the partially reformed Soul Crystal..."
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "It is good that this crystal not be allowed to fully reform. There is a chance, if the Falatacot and the crystal were left alone for long enough, that they could re-sink the Dark Isle, cutting us off from the opportunity we sought in its raising."
Kiriel Shadowborn tells you, "Tell Please, accept this humble reward for your continued efforts to keep the Dark Isle above the waves."

The Helm of Isin Dule is a nifty AL 420 helm with Major Flame and Slashing Wards. This helm is popular with the PvP-crowd for its decent AL and worth as well as the double-wards. It matches nicely with the Shield of Isin Dule.
