Assassin's Roost

First you need to find a set of Contact Instructions, this item drops off of various Humans on Marae Lassel and Viamontian Knights. When you have a set you'll find that it will expire but you'll be flagged for a week to complete the entry-quest (even if you die during it). There are 3 different notes so I will give the message then the steps that diverge.

Note I
"We often search for answers at the bottom of a bottle.
This time, you may find the answer is right."

Head to Holtburg's Pub and use the Bottle.
Use the Encrusted Scrollcase in the sho tower of Wai Jhou.
Give a Drudge Charm to an Aluvian collector (Rithwic) to get a message and 1 mill xp.
Take this message to Bretself, the translator in Cragstone.

Note II
"It is ours to search for signs in life.
Be it around town.
No matter how swamped you may be."

Head to Sawato and use the Sign at 28.4s 59.7e.
Head to the Great Hall of Viamont in Sanamar and, on the 2nd floor, is a Skeleton; use it.
Give a Green Phyntos Wasp Wing to a Sho Wing Collector (Mayoi) to get a message and 1 mill xp.
Take this message to Fanzen San, the translator in Hebian-To.

Note III
"A wish to find the one for which you seek starts with knowledge.
Knowledge is power, even if it is not power you seek.
Discipline over ones temptations is needed to control power."

Head to the Hebian-To Library (where Fanzen San is) and use the Open Book on the top floor.
Use the Tree near Bandit Castle at 65.8n 49.6e.
Give a Mud Golem Heart to a Gharu'ndim Stone Collector (Zaikhal) for a message and 1 mill xp.
Take this message to Kuyiza bint Zayi, the translator in Zaikhal.

Each Translator will tell you to buy a bottle of Danby's Ale at Danby's Outpost and give it to Ulgrim in exchange for a Skipping Stone. Give this item to any Fishing Hole and you'll be portaled to the Assassin's Roost entry dungeon. At the drop, you'll stick left in to a room full of breakable items; one of which will drop a key that unlocks the door.

Beyond the door lays your first test. You can choose to try it or head down the south-passage (leading to a ramp) before the test room and choose to complete a small killtask (10 Black Rats)to advance to the second test (you won't receive a title or xp if you do the killtask).

Test 1 - Sure Step title and 10 mill xp
You will need to step across coloured panels to make it from one side of the room to the other. If you choose wrong, you'll be sent back to the beginning of the test. Below are the directions:

Walk two panels West and head on to the Green Panel:

Walk 4 panels to the West and go on to the Purple panel:

Head 4 spaces to the West and go onto the Purple panel again:
North Green
West Orange

West onto the safe ground, speak to Lander to receive your title and reward!

Now for test 2: Jumping. If you don't want to do this test, you can head down and do another small killtask (50 Weak Mangy Carenzi, down the Southern Hallway before Test 2) which will, as before, omit you from receiving the xp or title for the test but will send you directly to the end of this dungeon. This test requires you to jump from one end of the area to the other. You will need to do precise jumps to get to the end, the doors stay open for 5 minutes. There are many ways to do this but below is one way:
Start
Half-Shift jump onto the bridge.
Open the South door and pull lever to open up the North side door.
Pull lever in North room, move to the West edge and look SW. Jump (regular, 1/2) across to the bridge to the SW.
Pull the lever in the South room to open the North door.
Pull that room's lever and move to the West edge, above you ,to the west, is a hole in the wall. Take 2 steps back and do a full jump forward to get up and into the next room.
Pull the lever and look out the West side, towards the SW is Maniel, jump to him to get your rewards.
Head to the East ledge and do a tap-shift backwards to land on a balcony.

Now head through the West exit of the room (whether you jumped to it or were portaled inside) then head up many spiral staircases to a Portal. Take it and you'll be at the base of a the Assassin's Roost Tower.

Head up and speak to Creed, a vendor who sells items for MMD notes:
- Assassin's Cowl - 20 MMDs - Major quick/coord AL 420, +1% to alchemy cantrip
- Assassin's Recal Gem - 100 MMDs - Brings you to the tower bypassing the entry dungeon
- Writ of Forgiveness - 50 MMDs - Hand in to Selaina the Subtle if you kill her in order to continue handing in other writs to her.
- Mana Forge Key Writ - 50 MMDs - hand in to Selaina the Subtle to receive a Mana Forge Key (6 day timer)
- Society Armor Writ - 50 MMDs - Hand in to Selaina the Subtle for an Ornate Society Armor Writ (6 day timer)
- Assassin Title Writ - 100 MMDs -Hand in to Selaina the Subtle for the Assassin Title
- Death Dealer Title Writ - 50 MMDs - Hand in to Selaina the Subtle for the Death Dealer Title
- Assassin's Edge - 500 MMDs - 1-10 Triple Strike dagger (Pierce/Slash), 20 atk mod/10 melee mod, casts Imperil VII

Now if you want the cowl or dagger without paying you can attack and kill Selaina the Subtle. She drops the Cowl 100% and the Dagger 20%. She is dangerous, debuff her dagger first before her, she will teleport you directly to her so be quick with perching (or running). It's best to have someone spam heal you or pop a Slash Protection Rare to negate her damage.

However, she won't do any more business with you until you turn in a Writ of Apology (or wait 7 days). The Cowl and Dagger are slightly different in their descriptions and the dagger is red instead of silver like the one you buy from Creed but they are alike otherwise.
